Who am I

I was born at 2,850 meters above sea level in Quito, Ecuador — a place of high altitudes and layered stories.

My path in cinema began in Paris, where I studied film and media largely by watching films in the dark — learning through the diverse works screened in cinemas. Since then, I’ve worked as an Assistant Director in South America, studied media management in Milan to better understand the industry’s infrastructure, and spent time in New York shortly before the pandemic began.

Now based in Lisbon, I work as a filmmaker and documentary consultant, collaborating with Show&Tell Films, a Los Angeles–based production company. For several years, I’ve also been involved behind the scenes at the Cannes Film Festival.

This year, I’ve been selected for the Production Lab at UnionDocs in Brooklyn. I'm currently developing my first feature-length documentary — a personal exploration of grief, endings, and release — and producing a trilogy of Lisbon-based short films that reflect on time, place, and memory.

I’m drawn to quiet, grounded storytelling, influenced by filmmakers like Kieślowski and Alice Rohrwacher. I’m also part of Women in Audiovisual, a European initiative led by the Erich Pommer Institute in Germany.
